The short version
rbxport is designed to work locally. We do not sell your personal information, and your music library stays on your device unless you choose to export it to a device or location you control.
Website
This website does not use advertising cookies or cross-site tracking. Our hosting provider may process standard technical request data, such as your IP address, browser type, requested page, and request time, to deliver and secure the site.
Desktop app
rbxport processes library data, playlists, audio metadata, and connected storage locally on your computer. The app does not upload your music library to rbxport servers.
Downloads and usage statistics
When you use an installer link, we record the installer requested, the time, campaign and referring-page information when available, and a daily hash derived from your IP address and browser user-agent string. This helps us count downloads and associate a download with a first launch without storing your IP address in the downloads table. If anonymous usage statistics are enabled in the desktop app, it sends an install identifier, app version, operating system, and architecture when launched. You can turn this off in Preferences. We may send a first-launch event with those details to Google Analytics to measure installs. We do not send your library contents through this feature.
Bug reports
If you choose to submit a bug report from the rbxport desktop app, we receive the description you provide and, optionally, your email address. If you choose to attach diagnostic information, the report may also include application logs, system information, library paths, and track titles. Bug reports are transmitted to and processed by our reporting service at report.rbxport.com. Cloudflare Turnstile is used to protect the reporting service from abuse and may process standard technical request data. We use this information only to investigate reports, provide support, and improve rbxport.
Data retention and sharing
You do not need an account to use this site or download the app. Technical logs retained by our infrastructure providers are governed by their security and retention practices. We may disclose information only when required by law or necessary to protect the service.
Your choices
You can control local app data by managing or removing the app and its files on your device. You can also use browser controls to restrict storage or clear site data.
Changes
We may update this policy as rbxport develops. Material changes will be posted here with a new effective date.
